To all my dearest readers, strangers who came across my blog today, or yesterday, or way back. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm not the best at updating my blog as regularly as I wanted to, but to see that you guys still checking it out everyday gives me butterflies.

Due to my hectic schedule, let's be real, aren't we all busy bees? I've been focusing on my Youtube Channel. But nonetheless, I cooked up a brand new blog and switched to TUMBLR recently. I found the layout much more attractive and a lot of the time, I found myself clipping and saving so many inspirations directly from there. So I thought why not have my own Tumblr. Blogger is great, but Tumblr is better. It's the perfect balance between a blog and Pinterest. I will be updating on Tumblr from now on. This shall be my last post on this blog under this domain. The transition is slowly but surely.

Thank you guys again for being here with me all this time. If you haven't checked out my Youtube yet? What are you waiting for! If you subscribe to me that'd be amazing. If you don't, we're still cool <3 I'm just super excited now that Fall is here. The time between season is always a great time to makeover yourself for the better (or worse) :) Today also marked my 500 subbies on Youtube! I'm so so happy. Can't thank and kiss you guys enough!

My new blog link is right here! See you guys over there, and remember to

So we think we can dance to Blurred lines! It was quite a workout actually.
I'm just bummed that Youtube won't allow me to publish this on mobile or TV.

HI monsties! I have a question for you. Do you have a UNIFORM that you wear nonchalantly everyday? Comment below!

My everyday uniform consisted of crop top, skater skirt, and sky high platform. So happy that I scored this vintage skirt at Buffalo Exchange yesterday. The waist is really teeny tiny, almost like wearing a corset. If it means that I need to skimp on the frappucino I would!

Shoe wise, Jeffrey did it again! These Alameda sandals is a Children's Day treat to myself. The velcro and buckle straps make it more sporty but what I love the most, is the ultra high and comfy platform. I walked 30 blocks from Midtown to Chelsea yesterday in these babies, no sweat!

Hello summer! Here I come.

I'm celebrating sunshine in this red hot skate skirt. It's only $6 can you believe it? I'm so happy to add this baby to my ever-growing skate skirt collection.

Check out my latest video <3

Hi guys, after some times I've decided to move my blog Dress Monsta to Youtube. There's so many text blogs going on already and I find Youtube a better platform for me personally. You can see the clothes in action, plus I get to communicate with you guys in a more interactive way. I know I've been behind with all my blog updates. I'm still hustling day and night between a fashion assistant and school, trying to balance everything out and jamming Youtube in between. I do not want to give any explanations because I feel like I'm just making excuses. But I am so grateful for all of my readers who still checking my blog out.

I've always enjoy editing video and I find it super fun. Thank you all my awesome subscribers who's been following me since day one. You can find me at my new home here: http://www.youtube.com/dressmonsta

I hope you will like it <3
See you in my next video,

BTW I made this super easy DIY cat ear tutorial recently after seeing all the rage about cat-ear headbands. I think they're super cute and they add a quirky touch to any outfit. You can learn how to make your own here:

Just black and white candids of Kate. It's amazing what simple cat-eye liner and a leopard fur coat can achieve, or maybe because it's Kate.

It's MARCH! Sometimes I wish I could just blink my eyes and the weather will be 20 degrees warmer. Couldn't say how happy I am now that Spring (break) is approaching in less than two weeks. A dream vacation would be tanning in Venice Beach, visiting Universal Studios, driving down Hollywood boulevard, soaking up sunshine... Summer cannot be here soon enough. I just want to deck out in pretty little dresses and wooden sandals.

Enough with the rambling! At least it's warm enough to wear my leather overalls again, a bit longer this time with nothing more than a light sweater underneath. Ever since Phillip Lim showed this piece for resort, I've been chasing it ever since. Also thanks to Marc my whole wardrobe full of stripes is suddenly relevant all over again.

I have a something affair with jumpsuit for numerous reasons: 1) They oozes coolness 2) They're easy to put on and 3) You don't really need anything else besides a good pair of heels and minimal accessories. At least in my case. My boyfriend's first reaction when he saw me was: "Is baby gonna paint the house or something?!" Hello!!!! It's a denim jumpsuit, it screams 90s and Chloe Sevigny. It's everything!!! Only problem is make sure to check your fly. By the end of this shoot and I was changing when I realized my fly was open the whole time. Oops!

I feel that the inner child in me get to come out and be fierce out and about in nothing more but a classic denim jumpsuit.

My heart melted as soon as this hot pink suede overalls strutted down Phillip Lim's runway. Where can I find such cutie?! Then I stumbled upon this salmon pink jumpsuit by Nasty Gal Collection. Light as air fabric and those pink buckles? I'll be rocking this baby all summer long.

Channeling the eternally fierce Carine Roitfeld in my latest video on how to wear pencil skirt. Happy Chinese New Year to my fellow Asian dressmonstas. It's my fashionably late message but I wish everyone have a blasting New Year showered with love, lust, and luck xx It's year of the snake and python is among my favorite animal prints since forever. What's your animal du jour?

I do mean that when I typed in the title for this blog post. Please excuse my absence from the blogosphere for the last half of January. I will tell you why in a minute. As of right now I am still in bed at 11:05 AM Eastern Time wearing a Uniqlo ultra tight turtleneck (to prevent heat from escaping my body) and an ultra boyfriend sweatpants courtesy of you-know-who. I thought of Margiela when I put this outfit together but no, really!

So the story for my absence begins on last Thursday. It was one beautiful morning in Manhattan. I woke up, thinking to myself it's sunny out hence it's warm. I didn't bother checking in with the weatherman, only because I was way overjoyed of the fact that my (faux) fur (I fully support PETA and animal rights) coat is enough to keep me company today. So I decked out in snake pants, plain Topshop tee, my coveted vintage fur coat, and a pair of loafers (YESSSS You heard it right..!!! No boots or booties, just loafers!). I strutted down the block to my Uptown train feeling all happy and not a bit of a cold got to me. As soon as I got off the 42nd station and began walking towards Bryant Park, it finally happened. Despite my Superwoman immune system, I'm now part of Mother Nature's outrageous flu show. But how do one stay warm and chic without having to wear such functional clothing with no fashion statement whatsoever!?!

My tips on surviving NYC flu season (inspired by Diana Vreeland's Why Don't You):
- Why don't you... Quarantine yourself! I know it's hard, especially for social butterflies alike. But do think for other species when they come in contact with you they might get sick and it's gonna be one ugly mess.

- Why don't you... Eat congee and only congee! It's also a sneaky way to lose weight. Don't get the impression that I'm promoting anorexia here, I have a butt and I'm proud of it okay!? Congee is nutritious fluid that your weak system can digest easily. I was so confident in myself that I had bolognese pasta yesterday only to sob in bed hours later because I couldn't digest the damn thing. Plus your body will lightly detox overtime and still getting all the nutrition you need to ger rid of the flu completely.

-Why don't you... Enjoy being spoiled like a baby! Your bf/gf will understand. Don't feel bad that they have to take care of you, they do that because they care about your wellness. Enjoy it and your body will thank you!

I get emotional and sensitive easily the closer it gets to Valentine, and my hormones aren't quite themselves at the moment. However thanks to the flu I now have time to meditate and catch up on my filming. A busy life is a happy life (to me) xx

In the mean time, check me out on YOUTUBE right here (You know that's another reason why I have eyebags bigger than Birkins). So go over there and see me in motion, I want to see you too!

My favorite looks of Soo Joo. She reminds me of Daul Kim, just a little bit. I had the chance to work with her a couple times last year and the girl got style down to a tee! I love looking at model street style and it's amazing the way Soojoo mix and match vintage with contemporary for an urban and still high fashion look. In my wonderland we share a bleach ambition and a pet leopard!

Anna looks stunning here in Pierre Balmain Spring Summer 2013 Lookbook. I love the styling! Those mellow yellow pants with criss cross lacing all over, the voluminous neoprene jacket, the bare midriff,  the wet slick hair, they all so special but together they bring about this nonchalant, cool yet feminine girl whose style so effortlessly stylish. These are my summer dream pieces! Enjoy xx

One of my favorite quotes of all times is this one by Oprah Winfrey:
"I don't think you ever stop giving. I really don't. It's an ongoing process. And it's not just about being to write a check. It's being able to touch somebody's life"
Remember the times back in middle school, teachers were teaching us not to share your ideas with anyone else because they might steal it. For the longest time I was so consumed by it and I became the biggest hoarder ever. Always keep everything to my selfish self. It comes to a point that it's so overwhelming and I was lost. Then came the solution, I pushed myself to share more, little by little.
The result was beyond my belief. I met the coolest people, make new friends, every day became much more excited and meaningful. Life is so good right now! The more I share the happier I become <3

Thank you for following my blog and for supporting me this whole time.
Whenever I'm stressed out, I go back to reading all the comments and messages from my followers and it gives me strength to go forward. You guys mean the world to me!

Sending love to everyone xx

PS: Check out my Youtube Channel here! I started school recently so on top of work, blogging, and exams now I have filming work to do. It's incredibly fun and I will be updating new video weekly.
